Iranian animation to vie at US festival

Directed by Maliheh Gholamzadeh, the animation ‘Tangle’ has been selected to vie at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in the US.

SIFF is an annual event which has been held since 1976. The event is one of the top film festivals in North America.

More than 400 titles are to be screened in the 45th edition of the event.

‘Tangle’ is a war story narrating the separation of people from their homeland due to war and the subsequent crisis.

The seven-minute animation was produced in 2019.

The SIFF is slated for May 16 - June 9, 2019.
